That t5 unit isn't even a high output unit. Would support soft coral...maybe. My early morning mind is struggling trying to think about it. Isn't anywhere close to the abilities of the previous led unit.

I used that led unit over a 20g tank. It worked very well for me so I would still suggest going that route.
