lighting on 20 gl

do u guys think 400 wts of mh to much for a 20 gl tank?

I read once that it's never too much. Only down side is electric bill and burning certain corals if you put them too close to the top.

yeah i think i'm going to go with one 250 wt

Yeah I have 300watts of MH and 200 of actinic PC so 500 total in my 55 and everything is doing wonderful. I had 210watts of just PC in my 20 and that was enough light for my crocea clam but he was like 5 inches from the top. Like aznbob said there can never be to much light, but with it being a 20g there really isnt much from for lower layers of coral so theyre not receiving such high amounts of light. I think it will be fine with 250
