hi all i have a maribello 20 gallon tank with fish and corals such as zoas and finger leathers i will be transfering all this to a 40 gallon tank now the 40 gallon has no lights as of yet so was wondering if i can take the ones out of the 20 gallon and fit to the 40 gallon the wattage of the bulb is 70/t 36 and under the bulb it say 4300 could i add to it in any way to make it suitable for my 40 gallon tank

How deep is your tank? Oh, and welcome to AA.

I don't think that is enough light. You could put all the corals directly under the old light untill you get lights for the 40g.
I don't know what type of light is 70/t 36 bulb? Is the light fixture long enough to go from end to end of your tank?
 
no it isnt long enough but thort if i got a longer bulb this would help, think ill just get some t5s then thanks anyway :)
