Lights for 45 gal. reef: MH or LED?

Thinking about one of these lights for our upgrade. The 45 gal. is aprox. 24Ē deep. What do you think? Do you have any other lighting suggestions for us?

I know that with the MH we could pretty much have what we want for corals and a clam. However I like the thought of less heat from LED lighting, no yearly replacement bulbs, and possibly lowering our electric bill at the same time.

Those 2 LEDS you listed will not be able to support much in the way of light intensive corals or clams.

If your looking at LEDs I highly suggest looking into Kessil LED fixtures. With the A350 model you will be able to keep any coral, nem or clam. The A150 model will do the same, however is less powerful and does not come with the dimming options of the A350. Here is a link to both. Also, remember you get what you pay for.

A150 Price $265

A350 Price $399
