Found this hood for under $200.wanted to know if it worth the asking price. thanks for any help 388 watts (3) 10,000k 96watt bulbs, (3) ultra -actinic 96 watt bulbs, (3) 6700k 96watt bulbs and (1) dual bulb that has 10,000k and actinic sides (96watt)

Is this a hood, canopy, retrofit or just a light fixture. Is it used? How old are the bulbs? Are the ballasts electric or magnetic?

As long as it does not need new bulbs and has descent ballasts it is a great price.

A hood.. it is used about 1 yr old. he said half of the bulbs are new. he doesnt know what name of the ballasts is. he bought it new. Said its in perfect shape. needs nothing. Thanks for your answer RMPD109

What are the dimensions of your tank (LxWxH) and the hood your looking at buying? What do you plan on keeping in the tank?
