you can try testing your tap water, may have some in it.

also did you add anything else to your tank that was from another tank?

test the water right from your tap, could already be in there.

Also did you add anything from another tank?

I went thru the same thing. LOL Then it turned out my bottles were expired. I bet you get a result now

Haha. Yeah i'll take a test right now. Wow. That makes sense. It only came with one nitrate bottle! I thought they were just to cheap to give me another with the pack! Hahah

There should be 2 nitrate bottles too

Nitrite and ph require one bottle of solution. Ammonia, nitrate and phoshate off the top of my head are double concoctions
