Hello everyone I'm new to the saltwater family and just had one quick question about live rock! I have a 10 gallon tank set up and I was looking into getting the 8lbs of live rock from petco! Should I get 16lbs or just 8lbs because 8 doesn't look like it fills up the space in the tank very well. I would greatly appreciate who ever responds! Thank you

You can use dry base or reef rock to fill out your tank I use a 90% base 10% live ratio when setting up a new tank it saves a lot of $$$

1-2 pounds per gallon is recommended. I have 130 pounds of all live rock (no base rock) in my 90 gallon.
