I just got some FREE Live Rock... 25 lbs.

Getting it tonight.

The guy has it in the water still. When I go get it are there any tips? Can I leave it in the tubs for a day or so? I have a couple of pumps & heatersI can use.

Thanks for any advice

Thanks Guys... I think i will try to get it all in the tank tomorrow, only because, I don't think I will have time tonight, after picking it up.

just wanted to confirm the heater & pump, so thanks for confirming :)

WOW! This is NICE Fiji Rock!
Turns out My husband worked with this guy about 10 yrs ago ;)
Can't wait to get it in the tank & get some pics!

Yep, just starting. Tank is set up. Rock in a tub with water, and a heater.

Actually Rick, I had to get a 30 gallon tote

There is THAT Much!

No, no pics yet.
Kinda got too much sand in & had to take some out, caused a sandstorm & couldn't even see the rock to aquascape.
Everything is in, just waiting for it to clear so I can get it looking good & put the rest of the sand back in.
Oh well, even the best laid plans....

Was wanting just a little sand, then the rock & more sand around it. Was trying to avoid the sand bed getting to deep under the rocks, since I am planning a goby.

Hoping it clears this weekend, kinda worried the rock is not getting enough light.

I have the filter on & the power head off.

You're cycling right now so there's need to worry about light for the rock. Best to cycle without any lights to minimize algae issues.

Got it all aquascaped today... Finally! Lol
Waiting for things to settle again. Should have pics tomorrow ;)
