I am setting up a FOWLR tank (may convert to reef down the road), in a 40 gallon tall tank. I plan to get about 1/4 live and 3/4 dry. Does anyone have some tips or pictures on stacking live rock in a tall tank. I know it is harder to work with than a long tank, but its what I have. Thanks!

I simply dry fit my rocks and stacked it, making sure it is all stable. Since I have sand sifters, I have egg crate under the sand. Before I poured in the sand I set up the rock on the crate so there was a stable foundation to sit on.

Like was already stated above, you can drill holes through the rock and support it if you want to. A similar option would be to use plastic dowel rods to support the rockwork.
