30 gallon mean i may upgrade to a 65 gallon tor 55 gallon later

I'd run a skimmer rated for 100 gallons then (2x your water volume roughly)

hey do u have sand on mud in ur refugium?

I just have crushed coral but next go around I'm gonna try the miracle mud.. heard great things about it

I ended upp doing live sand but i heard good things about mud too

I have too say with my sump my tank is like crytal clear now.

That's great to hear..after doing my first sump it has become my favorite type of filtration and will be utilized in every setup from now on including FW

How often do u change ur socks? I got my first lps coral to a ducan. Looks like little palm trees has 5 heads on it. Very colorful

Hey quick question i have a 5 inch circle dome light above my marco algea. Its kinda close to my water and scared it may fall in. So my question is if i cut a 1/4 inch piece of the glass i use for my baffle for above it and cut a 5 inch hole in it and set the light on it. Will the light melt the glass? I would even double it up to a half inch if i have to
