Looking to get started on my first tank..found this on ebay

Which one are you looking at? Be sure to check the shipping price, too, it aint cheap! Most times it is just as easy to buy from a local store. No hassles with expensive shipping, or damage during shipping. Plus you get it the same day.

The glass on those tanks looks like it has a lot of iron in it. Really green tint to it.

I found a guy that I work with thats going to sell me an Oceanarium 180 gal for $1500 with an oak cabinet and lights and pump

Truly depends on size and quality of stands. I just picked up a 90g w/overflow for $226 from LFS. Nice stand and canopy was another $190. I thinking shipping would kill you on any cost savings here.

Shop around there a deals to be found.
