I'm putting together a new tank and am gonna place an order for Live Rock from www.liverocks.com. Originally I thought I was going for 40lbs of Gulf and 40 lbs of Keys rock.
So, it putting this into a new tank to cycle it (whatever cycle I'll get w/ that much LR from LR.com). Now, would it be worth the extra few dollars to go ahead and get 10 or 20 lbs of the Coral Rock, or would the coral just die?
Tanks specs:
55 AGA, x2 thick glass
Remora Skimmer w/ MJ1200
2x MJ1200
3" play sand
350W Ti Heater
6 stage RO/DI Unit
Icecap 660 4x48" VHO's
