hi...everyone..i already start cycling my cured LR(30kg) with dsb 4" bout 4 days already.

queries-
how come my water is not cloudy yet?
noticed that there are fine strands(of i dunno wat is that)growing on my LR?
skimmer collection cup begin to collect a lot dark brown water?
some fine worms on the sand?light brown in color...
theres a long thin black worm which like to creep in and out at night from my LR.
havent got any test kits yet(which one 2 buy?NH4,nitrite,nitrate?which brand?)

I've never experienced cloudy water when cycling. Espeically if you're using cured LR - your water may remain clear forever.

Good - it's working. 8)

Can't ID without a pic, but 99% chance that they are good - & a sign of a maturing tank.

Any old brand will do for Ammonia & Nitrite -- after the tank has cycled, you should never expect to have Ammonia & Nitrite readings again. For everything else, Salifert.
