Is shaving brush plants and Halimeda safe as far as going a sexual or sexual (whichever it is)? I am looking to put a few more plants in my fuge. Right now i have cheatomorpha and 2 mangroves. I am still getting nitrates. They are at 20. I am doing a w/c today and it is 2 weeks overdue but i don't exspect it to take them to 0. I am purchasing a nitrate filter with a phosphate remover. They are both sopposed to put my levels down to 0. Anyone have any good or bad expeirences with them?

Halimeda needs Ca to grow and will compete with your corals for it. not sure about the shaving brush.
