Now I have a ? And is it ok to leave a Dsb alone in my refug and if not how do I clean it ....I have a couple narrcisis snails down there now

If there is junk building up on the sandbed, I would just vacuum it up with some airline tubing. This will minimize disturbing the sand bed and get rid of the gunk that can produce nitrates.
