This morning I would estimate the hippo had about 40% less spots than yesterday. Things are looking good .

Ok this morning the white spots are still decreasing in numbers. The hippo does have about 5 black spots now. I'm hoping it's not black ich but if it is the hypo will kill that too. All the fish are eating but not as much as usual. Is that a side effect from the hypo?

Yes, that is where garlic will help their appetite. But their systems are not working as hard in hypo, so they may just need less.

Update . I couldn't see any spots on the sailfin and porc chop this morning.hippo tang still shows improvement but he still has a ways to go . I guess the eating less yesterday was a fluke because they tore it up this morning. Hopefully by the end of the weekend all spots will be gone and I can start my 6 week countdown. Funds should allow me to order my own ro unit this weekend . Can anyone post a link for a good one ?

I'm doing a group buy for this tuesday coming up. bulkreefsupply has some awesome ro/di units and they will be even cheaper next tuesday if you join the group-buy.
