Thanks so I didn't like the look of the light so I mounted them inside .

i like it. I might have to follow suit and build a canopy for mine so i can do the mounting similar to yours. I like how clean it looks.

Thanks . I think Its pretty slick myself lol. All it is screw in eye hooks and used the ends of what is in the lights mounting kit.

And finally some new plumbing pics. It's been running since Sunday at about 5pm. Will take better pics of the scape once it clears up.

Here is the growth on the scrubber . Not bad at all for the first week with no fish . It's actually more than I would expect. Ammonia has dropped from 2 to .25 over the past few days . Nitirites are holding at .25

Thanks wade and sky. Yesterday the ammonia and trites zeroed out at around 4 pm. I dosed back up to 2ppm and this morning both ammonia and trites are down at .25 already. Shouldn't be too much longer. Established rock makes things so much quicker.

Is that where your BB will grow? I don't know much about the sump and stuff of the saltwater tanks

Nope. Basically the algae on the screen uses nitrates and phosphates to grow. So it will export excess nutrients as the algae grows and weekly you clean the algae off and repeat the process. The rock is where the bb is housed.

Thanks .well the tank actually finished cycling late last night . Tests show 0 ammo 0 trite and 4 trate so I picked up a gsp frag from Atlantic sea farms. Still waiting for it to open up. Making water to do a water change now. Hopefully it will open up soon .

Looks awesome.. I'm working on my ats so I'm interested it how this all works out.. Lets see a pic!

There actually is a video of the scrubber a few posts up. Lights are off already so no tank pics tonight. If you need any help with your scrubber feel free to pm me .
