Well had another successful feeding . Table shrimp and of course the silverslide head. I'll keep mixing the food with the fish head for a good month then I will give it a try without it and see what happens.

I know I saw that.... Which half did you feed the head or tail? I'm 95% sure the head is what triggers their feeding response after today . Well with mine at least .

2 pics from today. I got a New phone with a pretty good camera . I just have to figure out why they are small

What are some opinions on getting a trachypyllia brain coral ? My main concern as always is the tank being low flow . It's only flow is from the mag 7. Thanks

What are some good algae eating snails ? I got my nitrates and phosphates down to 0 so I just need the remaining bits of hair algae gone. No turbo snail because if they knock my frags over I will feed them to porc chop lol.thanks

The turban snails do a great job for me. They are not very susceptible to predation like their cousins.

Check this out . I never seen my frogspawn this big before . I might have to move it over its blocking slagathors walk way.

Just spent an hour at the lfs eyeballing the green welso but I could not accept the price tag on it.picked up a red acan with 4 heads for $ 30. Thinking I should put it pretty high up but I'm not sure. Any suggestions ?

I would put it low, especially to start. Acans don't need crazy light. I have some on the sand bed in my tank, and others about midway up. Both are doing well and growing.

Of course it is fairly evident that you don't actually have them since there are no pics.
