I have been working on getting everything ready to set up a 90 gallon reef tank but don't have have all my stuff yet. I have a few people holding frags for me now and I am able to get some good deals on some corals now. I ran across a really good deal on some used stuff and couldn't pass it up. So, I was able to set up my own frag tank. I am going to hold off on my display tank and get some of my corals in my frag tank so I can get some growth on them. This way I will be able to get the things that I want for my display and will not feel the need to try to rush anything.

Tank: 65 gallon 36 X 18 X 24 with overflow
Sump: 100 gallon stock tank
Return pump: Little Giant 1325gph model
Skimmer: Old Berlin Turbo XL model
Lighting: 250watt IceCap MH with 10000K ReefLux bulb
Powerhead: MaxiJet1200 with SureFlow mod
Heaters: 2 200watt
LiveRock: 35 pounds of well cured Fiji

And I won a ATO at our Frag Swap last weekend.

It might not be pretty but I think it will work.

Water Parameter after it has been running for a few day:

PH: 8.2
Ammonia: 0 Nitrite: 0 Nitrate: 0 Phosphate: 0
Calcium: 500 Phosphate: 0 KH: 12 Mag: 1440
These numbers are just like what Reef Crystals shows that it should have.

i would be concerned with eventual possible failure of the screws on the legs. unless they are stainless steel the salt water will eat away at them. quick an easy fix would be to put a 2x4 under the cross member in the middle of the leg.

nice frags

Your sick !!!!! And I hope you never get better! What's you main tank? Better be good to top your frag tank.

I still have to get some equipment for my main tank so it's not ready yet. But one of the guys in my club was getting out of the hobby so I got every thing for a steal. ;) I really couldn't pass it up. So, now I am collecting my corals and frags so I can grow them out for when I do get my main tank up and running. :)

Hows the little giant for noise? I had the 4dmxq sitting around from my uncles 250G or so tank. I wanted to change my mag 12 to it after i get a new sump.

It's not bad at all. I have the 4MDQX-SC and it has two places to oil it. I have heard that the pumps without the oil holes are louder.
