I have recently built a 30 gallon tall refugium. I devided the refugium for 2/3 LS and 1/3 mineral/miracle mud. I had read something on a blog once and seen a pic of it. My question is has anyone else ever seen this kind of setup? What are thoughts and opinions on such a setup? I have researched some different items that will grow in both. I'm unsure if this is a good idea not. Thanks for all thoughts and opinions. Any will help with my final decision.
