I am trying to get all my information set before I dive into getting my salt water tank setup. One question I have is, I currently own a eheim type 2217 filter (canister), do I still need that if I am going to use a sump/refugium?
Also, I have seen some websites that show you how to make a refugium/sump system out of acrylic. Where does everyone get their acrylic at, Home Depot/Lowes or does someone know a website that has it cheaper?
What size refugium/sump should I make for a 110 gal tank? I was thinking a 30 or 40 gallon.
My last question is what size holes to drill in the glass for the refugium/sump? I have seen several sizes used and i'm not sure what is best to use.
