murky water

So I'm starting to think I didnt wash the pool filter sand enough for the 120 gallon tank I'm trying to get started. Its been over a week and the water is still murky. Please tell me I dont have to pull everything out of the tank and start over. If I have to I will I'm just really helping I dont have to do that

Unfortunately you will need to rinse the sand. As much as possible then do something such as a 75% WC

Would vacuming the sand help any?
