Mushroom question.

I have a red mushroom hitchhiker that has been around for a few months. I noticed today that it wasn't as full as it has been. It's become detached from the LR and is now purpleish. Below is a pic. Any help is appreciated.

Mushrooms actually have the ability to release themselves and blow around the tank to a more suitable spot for them.
