I am soo happy your SHs are doing good, Melosu!! Hopefully I will have the same luck :)
I decided to go with the cup method. I have a small skinny tall glass. I rinsed it under water for about 3 minutes to make absolutely sure there was no soap residue. I put the cup in the water and scooped them into it one by one and poured them in the tank. They immediately started swimming around and checking things out. I acclimated for a total of 3 hours. I fed them 5 hours after they were put in the tank. All of them are eating, and checking things out in the tank. They seem very comfortable. I provided lots of nooks and crevices in the rockwork for them. Plus, they're are many hitching posts. They seem less stressed than they were in that small tank in the LFS. I saw the red female chasing an amphipod today. That was cool!
Finally....Here's some pics!
This is the black and white male

This is the red female. She's not crimson red, as I had hoped. But she definately has a red color to her.

Today I'm going to do a pwc, then test the water. I know it's time for the pwc, cuz my skimmer almost filled in one day. I'm assuming it's the leftover mysis that's putting excess waste in the water. I'm going to be investing in more nassarius snails to help eat it up.

I believe I have the start of a cyano bloom. The position I had the PH in provided good flow throughout the tank. I repositioned the PH when I put in the ponies, cuz it seemed to be too much for them. They were getting pinned up against the LR. I pointed it towards the front glass. The ponies have been doing great, but last night I noticed some red stuff on the sand. So now what do I do???
I was thinking of getting another maxijet 400 and sticking it on the opposite side of the other one and point that one at the wall also. But...I'm afraid it will be too much for the ponies.
My tank is a 20 gal high. The output of the maxijet400 is 106 gph. 2 will be 212 gph. Will that create a turbulent nightmare for my horses?

Here's a pic I took Tuesday

Everyone is eating, active and seem healthy. Wish me continuous luck!

Thanx!!! I have waited soooooo long to get these guys. It is definately worth the 2 years of reading, researching, and waiting!
That's Banana on the left before he got pregnant. You can really see the difference in his belly. I'll post some before and after pics in the other thread.
