My 40 Gallon Tank BENDS!!!

I finished adding 56lbs of Live Rock to my 40 gallon saltwater tank and I noticed that from the top view, I can see the sides, front and back of the tank glass bend outwards!

My tank is suppose to be a rectangular tank so I dont understand why its bending out like that. I'm a bit worried because 40 gallons of water is A LOT!

i really dont see it. but i really would not think any thing of it. is it glass? but when you fill tanks they will bow a little becasue all of the water pushing on the sides.

But wouldn't this put too much pressure on the corners of the tank? Maybe eventually causing the adhesive on the corners to wear down and eventually "pop" the tank open?

well form the pic i really could not see a bow so it is not vary big. but i know i had one smaller tank a 12 gal and when i put the fram on it was vary loss fitting then when i filled it with water the frame would not come off due to all the pulling by the walls. is the tank new? or used?

Glass tanks will bow...some. If it's new, I wouldn't worry too much about it, if you are really worried...make the LFS exchange it for a new one.
