And I'm glad you guys like my rockwork. My husband doesn't like it . But I refuse to move it. Lol

Also, I have a question for power heads. I have two in the tank. Because I had minimal rock I only had my 2800 running. Now- even with all the additional rock- two power heads creates too much current. I don't see any dead spots in water movement. Is it ok to just leave the one running? My second power head is only a 1400.

Lol. The 2400 I won in a raffle. It's a korila. I believe it's a 95-100$ power head. Let's just say this baby works REALLLLLLY well. It's current goes all the way across the 6 ft tank and then back over. My bubble has to be tucked away just do it doesn't get too much current

kk well then if your getting 0 dead spots and every thing is happy then why not only run the one. ive read people putting a power head behind their rock just to keep everything moving back there too. just a thought.

Not a bad idea- but I have dual overflows in the back and I can't reach in the middle

Reaching it isn't the problem- its getting behind all that rock!

Get a wave maker and alternate one to the other.

Btw- I'm gonna try to catch the purple tang today. Since my other tangs are trying to claim dominance again I figure now is the best time. Wish me luck!
