Im told its Fiji rock. VERY large pieces of Fiji rock. I bought it online I guess it looks good ,being the first time Ive ever purchased liverock not knowing what its supposed to look like. Also came with it was some type of snail smaller than a pencil eraser.

Looks like you are indeed, "reefbound" . My only suggestion is to get some mounting legs for that Corlaife fixture and ditch the glass covers on your tank.

Just out of curiosity, Why? is it a heat issue. I have two little ones that keep wanting to touch Nemo and I dont want them to put there hands in there or try and feed them breakfast...lol.

the reason for going topless is for heat release as well as gas exhange..

If you are worried about jumpers or larger items finding their way into the tank, look for egg crate at HD or lowes.

75g w/ 30g sump, 160# LR, 60# sand: Inverts =18 turbos, 30 nassirus's, 40 blue leg's, 5 emeralds, 1 CBS, 1 skunk cleaner, 1 brown gulf shrimp? and various other LR hitch hikers yet un discovered or un-ID'ed
Fish=1 yellow tang, 1 yellow headed jawfish, 1 pink/blue shrimpgoby, 2 perc clowns.
Future fish = 1 sixline, 1 lawnmower blenny
