Alrite tell me if this tank sounds good for a 55 gallon marine:

Penguin 350 Biowheel Filter
Aqua C remora Protein Skimmer
visi therm stealth heater 200 watt
3 maxijet 1200 powerhead
250+ watt light
45 lbs lr
40 lbs ls
clownfish

not sure what other fish I will be picking up yet. I want to have coral, live rock and fish in there as well. Let me know what you think.

IM assuming you have a hydrometer to check the salt levels as well, otherwise sounds good to me! Hope to see your progress on your tank, since its always fun to see how they turn out. Good Luck!

It looks like a great start. If you are interested in corals, limit the rest of your fish list to reef-safe fish. Decide on what types of corals/inverts you would like to have before you commit on lighting.

250 watts should be ok for most LPS and soft corals but if you want clams or Sps I would go with MH right from the start.
