Kurty, I really dislike you right now! You're supposed to say " it prob wouldn't have been a good idea", not the opposite lol. Sir twitch, Ive always heard that I could place my picasso trigger in the refugium for a few days if needed to adjust his aggresive tendencies, but I was worried about the tang because I know they can get stressed relatively easily. Thank you for your input I appreciate it

I didn't think of stress so maybe disregard my input just to be on the safe side.

Me personally, I wouldnt put any fish of any larger size into my fuge for longer than a day. But that's just me and I worry alot. LOL

Maybe some rock moving and re introducing both fish at the same time can help?

I have a mix of many different saltwater fish amongst my tanks, but I love my Tangs most of all.

Pretty sure my new butterflyfish has ich gonna get to Petsmart and get some treatment into the system. Would moving him down to the refugium help contain it?

UV isn't as effective anyways as some people would think. it will get some of the ich but not all of it.

The ich attack is hit or miss. You know the only way is to qt the fish for 6-8 weeks while your tank sits fishless. It sucks but thats the only way to be really sure you get it dead.

Qt'ing just the one fish won't help your display tank though, if one fish has it, it is now in your tank and your other fish are susceptible to it.
