Well I thought owning a freshwater tank was expensive in terms of impulse buys....the old lady and I went to my lfs for some cleaner shrimp, ended up leaving with a chocolate chip starfish (she wanted it ) and a huma-huma trigger....such a beautiful fish! have to pick him up tomorrow, (day off). He is a bit smaller than our niger trigger but it'll work out good because the humas are slightly more aggresive than the nigers. Here's a pic of the huma- huma, aka picasso trigger.

LOL Impulse buys aren't alwasy the best way to go! You know the starfish isn't reef safe either right?

You are gonna make a really nice aggressive tank. How about a grouper? That be a nice fish to add.. Grouper Fish, saltwater fish aquarium - Aquatic Connection

I have a mix of many different saltwater fish amongst my tanks, but I love my Tangs most of all.

Soooo got another question....think a lionfish would work in my tank?? Itd be as follows,
Niger trigger
Picasso trigger
2 domino damsels
MaY clownfish
Engineer goby
Scooter blenny
Possibly a yellow tang
That's our end stocklist
Now could a dog-faced puffer and/or black volitan lionfish work as well?? Any comments help

Wed preferably like to drop the tang and go with both the puffer and lion if possible, keep in mind I have a 55 that will eventually be a single-fish dt for when one of them gets bigger

The damsels might get eaten.

Suprisingly they hold their own, they co-inhabit with my trigger extremely well, I think its the fact that they are so fast. But if they do get eaten I'm not worried, I'm just concerned if the bigger predator fish will co-exist

I think the lionfish will hold it's own, but not sure if the puffer can go in.

I'm kinda scared to think who would come out on top in a trigger/lionfish/puffer fight

Depending on the trigger and puffer id say lion then puffer then trigger because my picasso isn't aggressive at all for some reason
