ok.. I have a small idea... I have a 12g nano cube sitting around, I was pondering about using it as a refugium/sump for my 29gal tank..

basically, have livesand, macro algae in the tank and whatever else... replace the small pump thats in there (back with the filtering stuff) with a mag3/7/whatever

is this a feasible idea or is this destined to be a failure ?

i was wondering.. if maybe if it went to the refugium first instead of the filtering on the back, would that cause a problem.. or should I have it go to the foam / whatever else then into the refugium ..

or am I just doomed ?

well you see thats the thing.. someone told me that putting a pump in there would be too much of a hassle...

i dunno tho
