Hi all
At last I'm changing from my 10g nano with 20g fuge to a 80g tank,I used to have turtles in the larger tank but have gone to my LFS,the tank has been cleaned and I have bought some LR.As you can see I've added the LR and fixed it together, added some live sand yesterday.
I'm just waiting for delivery of 2 sumps and a siphon overflow box.
I have 2 compartments under my tank so have had 2 sumps made which will be joined with 1 1/4 pvc pipe, the right hand side sump will have 20% of the water flow and the left will have 80% waterflow, live sand and cheatomorpher in the right, return pump, heater and v2 compact 500 skimmer in the left sump.the heater and return pump in the tank are there until sumps turn up,at the back of the tank you can see some 1" pvc pipe which my return pump will connect to which will pump the return water all over my LR through the holes I have drilled along the pipes.
so far so good

Ok I've finished, well just about.I have now added my 2 sumps and plumbed them in.I had to do it this way because I couldn't remove centre partition in cupboard as the back isn't supporting the tank.
The sump on the right has a dsb with LS and chaetomorpha with a low energy light, this has about 20% flow from the DT and is plumbed to the right sump via a 1 1/4" pipe.
The left sump houses my heater, skimmer and return pump 80% of the flow enters this sump.I have used a eshopps syphon overflow box capable of 100gph.4 x powerheads in tank for circulation and pvc pipe from return pump down the lefthand side along the back and up the righthand side with holes drilled for good flow onto all the LR.LR is stuck together with epoxy putty coloured the same as purple macro algae.there's a couple of red leg hermits, turbo snails and a couple of sand sifting snails,my fish from my nano will be added this week-2x clowns, lawnmower blenny and a yellow tail damsel.more will follow soon.maybe a birdnose wrasse and a tang?? check out my profile for closeups!!
