Hi I havent started my tank yet but I plan to soon I have a ten gallon tank and im planning to get a few damsels what do u guyz think

What are the questions lol

Lol ^

Seems fine to me 2 damsels seem about max for a 10 dont mix them with any other fish though because they are really aggressive. I have one with a puffer that dose fine but thats just because the puffer would kill him if he tried to attack him.

Do I need any special equipment besides a filter salt and a hygrometer
Keep in mind this is a fish only tank

Can you reccomend a place to get a cheepish refractometer
Also is there anything else I might need.

But since it is a fish only tank and you don't need to be super worried about .02 salinity you could probably just use a hydrometer because you don't have corals which are really sensitive.

Were you thinking of getting the damsels to cycle the tank or as permanent residents? Just asking because if they are to cycle, then there are better (fishless) ways of cycling the tank and then you can get what you really want when that is done.
