Your water level needs to be lower it shouldn't be above the top of the overflow. About half way or less.

Try drilling a larger hole at the top of the durso, letting in more air may fix it.

Looking at your pic if I were you id try another line exactly the same size as the one you have already, so double lines. Try it with and without airline, experiment. If the hole is to much just bock it with silicone and try again. Play with h it. Has it worked though, is your overflow quieter? ?

Here is the top of my stockman, different type of silencer bit the airline principles are basically the same. I ended up with two breathers the same size. Below the air elbows in the pipe is airline that extends to about where the water enters the pipe, and I can't hear a sound from it!

If this doesn't work I'm thinking of turning up the elbow and making it look like yours. How does it look under the sleeve?????
