Need help with durso standpipe

Having seen your pics and how your system is set up I can't see how you could have a stockman standpipe. They are designed for a weir type overflow box, not a drilled overflow like yours. The only things I can suggest is try turning the intake on an angle or if possible reduce the return pumbs flow rate so its not overloading the durso. What concerns me with your water level is how much water will syphon down to your sump before levelling out? Have you turned it off to see? Might flood your sump. If it doesn't flood your sump then you're safe.

I know me too my old tanks hole was higher that's why I'm kinda lost but I'm thinking of turning it up then I believe it will flow like yours but I'm trying to figure out how to configure it with that sleeve like yours so I can't hear it

Lookd like you have a few inches above your overflow intake pipe you you may be able to make a short stockman.

I think if you got one of these to fit your a intake pipe it will act just like a stockman.

Awesome info man ty I've thought about what you said and the way mine is setup worries me too the sump can't handle my volume of water if the power ever goes out so I have to change it. Again ty for all your info
