I just got a percula clown and I have a blue devil damsel and a lawnmower blennie in my 30 gallon tank already. When I put in the new clown the damsel is chasing after him and nipping at him. What should I do???? I do not want my clown to be killed by the damsel.

TIA,
Josh

I also have a percula clown and 3 yellow tail damsels. Try moving some of your rocks and/or decorations around. That seemed to work for mine. The damsel is territorial and if you change the territory, they sometimes arent as aggressive. Hope this helps.

Do you have another tank like a qt tank? Another suggestion would be to remove the damsel for a couple of days and allow the clown to settle in. You can put him back after a few days and this might stop the aggression.
