Need to cycle Reugium before adding to system?

I just built a HOB refugium from a HOB overflow trickle I used a mud substrate and was wondering if there needs to be any cycling of the fuge from the live mud before adding it to my setup. currently I have it recycling in to an old sump and it has been only one day, any Ideas on if I can just ad er on, the ph SWG and all other reading seem nominal..

Just add the refugium since its volume isn't enough to affect the main system biologically.
