Aquarium Advice Freak
Well I finally got my new tank. I plan on putting 2 inches of new sand on the bottom and 2 inches of old sand from two existing tanks on the top. Does anyone see any problems with this?? Or have any suggestions??

Take and post lots of pics, LOL.
Sounds like a decent plan. Once you get to the old sand don't add more than 1/2" per week. You could smother the critters and bacteria in it.
