Just some photos for info purposes..I'm prolly going to get ls and some filtration tomorrow. Still undecided on the marineland skimmer. No one here seems to like them, but they are inexpensive, and I shouldn't need much skimming. I will post a pic of the test fire (Lights) later..

Get a skimmer, you will thank yourself for it later. In the 10 days I have had a skimmer on my 15g, all of my cyano algae went away entirely and my coraline algae growth has been crazy. There are no fish in my so the bio load is extremely low, I do 15% water changes every week, check this skimmate:

That skimmer was $109, probably not much more than the Marineland skimmer. I was really on the fence about getting the skimmer, but I can assure you there is some nasty crap in that collection cup :D
