New 55 gallon reef in the making

I just recently downsized my aquarium (yes I know it's a rarity) from a 115 gallon to a 55 gallon. I'll miss the big one, but it just took up too much room.

Btw: I'm running an Aqua Clear 300 HOB filter and a HOB protein skimmer. Any thoughts/ideas/issues?

There is sand in it, pic taken at upward angle. But I have heard your warnings and have added more thanks
