What are you test readings? 10 Amy's is no where near long enough for a cycle and that puffer fish might not make it or can get stressed out and get sick.

Buy safestart or dr tims one & only. These products will give you extra bacteria.

Or you could return the puffer and finish your cycle.

Sadly, these folks are correct. You may kill that puffer. I would return the fish and properly cycle that tank. You need a lot more live rock also. A pound to a pound and a half per gallon is ideal.

Thanks guys we were told the puffer fish is what we needed but you are right because he wont eat now..returning him today... as for the live rock we have about 20kilos in there???
