New anemone

Got this anemone yesterday, my first anemone. It moved about 10 inches from where I place it. How long does it take to expand and how do I feed?

You can just let it do it's thing. it will find the perfect place for itself.
AS far as feeding you can feed once or twice a week a tiny piece of seafood like a little pea sized piece of say silversides. It doesnt need you to feed it though and it will stress if you give it too much or too big of food.

Silversides???

Silversides are small fish that you will find in the frozen food section of your LFS. You can also go to the supermarket and buy a couple shrimp or a small piece of fish and leave it in the freezer, and just cut off small pieces as needed.

Do I drop pieces of shrimp directly on top of anemone?

You can take a small piece and kinda wave it at the tentacles and it will take it from you.
