New aquarium with peat

hello i havent been on here in forever had way to much stuff to do and have been in the process of moving so hi. alright im starting a new aquarium i plan to make it a paludarium using peat bricks for the land section i was wondering how drastic the pH change will be with a large amount of peat?

At the beginning, the change can be substantial.

i was also wondering if there is a way for me to EASILY keep the pH up without a weekly buffer.

Depending on your KH levels, it may be very difficult to keep the pH levels towards the alkaline side while using peat.
