Starting a new build, been in the works for the past month or so. Should be picking up the stand from getting stained and sealed either tomorrow or Thursday. Tank is 58 gallons, 3 ft x 18" x 20" high. Had it built with an overflow pre-drilled ready to go. Also decided to go up a size in glass, went with 1/2" just to make sure. Also picked up the plumbing for the Durso and return. Plan to do mostly corals, and a few community fish. Ordered a new Tao Led, should be here in the next week. Hope to start the cycle around the 4th, may have to wait depending on budget for sand, rock, and water.

After having everything sitting in the garage for 2 weeks, the stand finally can through and sealed up. I am very happy with it. I did a test fit and decided to paint the back black. I am seriously considering buying the matching canopy for it. Gonna add sand rock and water tomorrow and start the cycle, on to the pics...

Ok well photobucket keeps crashing so pics will have to be later, sorry peeps.

image-1091582761.jpg Tank with some rock, and sand while filling it up. Back came out great, I'm stoked. It's the first tank I have that is against a wall, but painting was easier than I thought it would be. Tank is filled now and shrimp is in. Now to wait...

*sorry for the glare, only pic I snapped today.

Added a small amount of live rock and moved se stuff around. I have a few rocks in another tank with coral on it that will go in once the tank establishes a bit more. Here a fts.

Cycles done, added some hermits and some snails, working on getting the Fuge set up. Gonna pick up some mud today since they were out last week and some pods. Also picked up a yellow watchman goby, a blenny and a pair of firefish. Pretty cool to see them cruising around together.

I have plans to add more rock work but it has coral on it so that's gotta wait. Other than that everything else is going along great
