new clownish question

I just added two clownish to my 75g tank. First fish to be added so far with an assortment of hermits and snails.

They just went in yesterday and seem to be doing fine. Only thing is though that they aren't as into eating as I wish they were. They ate within five minutes of being in the tank yesterday but not much. Could the current just be too strong for them to find the food? or are they still just learning the tank and will be able to hoo after it when comfortable ? Are clowns usually pretty aggressive in going after the pellets when settled in? They seem to only eat if the pellet just so happens to end up in front of their face.

Just want to make sure they will be able to go after and find the food as they acclimate more.

Thanks for any help ahead of time!

Turning the flow off will make it easier for them to feed however, this is part of the acclimation process so I wouldnt worry much. In a week or 2 they should be actively feeding more.

Thank you for replying so fast! I have tried turning of the power head but they just seem more interested in hanging out in the back than anything else. I won't worry about it too much then. Thanks again!

Yep no problem. Many fish will do this when for awhile, normal. Just keep an eye on parameters and keep an eye on them and all should be good with some time.
