Hello,
There is a good possibility that I will be starting a new job soon that requires 75% travel. I'm looking forward to the job but had a few questions on maintaining my tank.
I have a 135G FOWLR with a Dogface Puffer and a Domino Damsel right now. Next I will be putting either a Emporer or Blueface Angel and then eventually a wrasse and then finally a picasso trigger.
I do have an automatic top off installed to keep the salinity in check.
I will be gone most of the time during the week.
I know the best would be to get someone to come out from my LFS, and that is something I will consider. I was wondering though, if I could feed them well before I go, and maybe drop a few frozen clams/live snails in there for them to eat over the week until I get back. I know this wouldn't be an issue if it was only a 1 week vacation or something but this will be a constant thing.
I'm trying to find automatic fish feeders for frozen food and can't find any.
Any thoughts? Does anybody on here maintain a tank by themselves and have a job that requires > 50% travel??
