Hi All, got new LED lighting 165 w x 2 for my 125. Is it possible that the lighting is to strong for certain corals? I have a dimmer, I've had a beautiful Kenyan Tree but it hasn't adjusted well to the lighting. How long and what power should I keep the lights on throughout the day? Help

These units are powerful. What did you have before? You should probably turn them all the way down to like 10-20% and then slowly ramp them up a little(10%) every two weeks. This allows corals time to adjust to the increased light intensity.

I had t5 HO's, I'm still learning, I definitely think I was cooking the corals I've turned them way down everything seems to be doing better. Everyday is a new lesson :)

If you start to increase the strength do it slowly, no more than about 5% in a week works best IME
