I currently have a chromis, ten is far too small. They grow and swim A LOT.
Yes on the fire fish with the clowns, maybe with the other gobie, but could present issues.
Trust me, when you are limited to a few choices, you want something other than a "collection" of fish, you want something "unique".

Symbiotic relationships, be they fish/anemone, fish/shrimp or fish/whatever, or pairings, will ultimately provide you with more enjoyment than an assortment will.

I agree with PB I'd do the fire fish and the shrimp/goby pair.

What type of clowns are they?
I've had/seen pairs of Ocellaris and Percula in that small of set-ups with no issues.
Most other types of clowns do grow too large, I will agree.

I have a pair of ocellaris. They were in a ten for a bit but got upgraded. They were to large for it and they do enjoy swimming

Yashas are my all time favorite but they're $$$. Red banded hi fins or yello watchmen are very cool with pistol shrimp.
