U could use something like this http://www.aquacon.com/SeachemClarity.html to clear it up faster there are several products available like I said my sand came with stuff but I am sure ur lps sells something if ur interested most new tank owners want to do anything they can to speed up the process.

All tanks are like that when u add water and sand. Ur salt level definitely has to get higher. Run all the pumps and the filter. It should clear up in a week or so.
