So my 75 just isn't big enough. Ha, no one saw that coming right. So my plan is a pre-drilled 125. Would go bigger but space is an issue. I'm planning to build my own stand, and sump. LFS says 40 breeder is a good size for a 125. I have already started buying rock, it is curing now in the basement. Will be adding 100#s to the 110# of live rock I already have. My question is about the sump. I know that I want room for a skimmer. Thinking Reef Octopus. And then I want a sand,rubble, macro area. Could I use one of my current LEDs from Marineland to light the sump? Starting construction of stand next week. Any thoughts on anything would be great, maybe suggestions on lights and skimmer.
